Eastern Dentists Insurance Company (EDIC) is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. EDIC does NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We use the information we collect from you to process orders and to provide a more personalized online experience. EDIC may transfer some information to our agents for purposes such as clearing credit cards or analyzing traffic to enhance your online experience but always under strict confidentiality. The only time we would release personal information outside the provisions of our privacy policy is if we conclude, in good faith, that it is necessary to do so in order to comply with legal requirements, to enforce our rights or to protect EDIC, you or our other customer-owners.
Why is EDIC safe?

What information does EDIC collect? How do we use it?
When you fill out an online insurance quote application we need to know your name, email address, and mailing address. This allows us to process your quote as accurately as possible.
When you join our newsletter, we need only your email address. If you have joined our email list, we may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the web site, new EDIC products or services, and/or special offers we think you’ll find valuable.

Mobile Privacy Policy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
EDIC may retain messages transmitted via SMS in an effort to better serve you.
Banking Privacy Policy
For your security, EDIC does not store credit card or bank account information relating to online transactions. Account information relating to automatic payments is retained by a third party, Authorize.net.
